About Elizabeth Harmon
Hi. I’m Elizabeth, the writer behind Love the New Forest. I moved to Ringwood, on the edge of the beautiful New Forest National Park, at the end of 2019. I live there with my fiancé, Matt. By day I’m an experienced Freelance Social Media Consultant, but at the weekends, I can usually be found with my wellies on, exploring every inch of the New Forest.
I thoroughly enjoy writing and have wanted to begin my own local blog for a while now. After settling into Ringwood and falling head over heels in love with the New Forest, it felt like the perfect time to start.
As well as writing, I’m a keen photographer, so I’m looking forward to sharing some of my photos alongside my blogs. I know there are some incredibly talented photographers in the area, so I am always open to feedback or tips, to help me develop my skills along the way!

Through this blog, I want to showcase the outstanding scenery, unique villages, exciting experiences and fantastic local businesses within the New Forest. I hope it will inspire you to get out and enjoy more of what the New Forest has to offer.
